Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Author's Loft. By using the Platform, you represent that you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement and that all information you provide is accurate.

Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account. Author's Loft may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

Author Content & Intellectual Property

Your work. Your rights. Always.

All copyrights and publication rights remain the sole property of the Author. Author's Loft claims no ownership of Author Content. The Platform operates on a non-exclusive basis, and Authors may publish elsewhere at any time.

Platform License

By uploading content, you grant Author's Loft a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-bearing license to host, distribute, display, promote, and sell your work solely for the operation of the Platform.

Royalty Structure & Stripe Connect

Authors keep 85% of all revenue.

Authors retain 85% of revenue generated through the Platform. Author's Loft retains a 15% platform fee. Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect and are subject to Stripe's terms, processing fees, disputes, and compliance requirements.

Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal. Payments are charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation. Refunds for Apple purchases must be requested directly through Apple.

DMCA Copyright Policy

Author's Loft respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA notice including identification of the work, infringing material, contact information, and a statement under penalty of perjury.

Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

All disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under AAA rules in Florida. You waive the right to jury trial and participation in class actions.

Limitation of Liability

Author's Loft is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or service interruptions. Maximum liability shall not exceed $500 or the amount paid to Author's Loft in the prior 12 months.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
